POSITION SUMMARY

The Mission Support Manager (MSM) is responsible for overseeing day-to-day management of the office, personnel and equipment being utilized. This position includes a variety of duties and responsibilities related to administrative, operational/technical, and logistical management of the contract. The MSM will establish strategic goals by developing, coordinating and enforcing systems for policies, procedures and productivity standards. The Mission Support Manager will be responsible for coordinating and supervising the following requirements: Administration, Registrar, Security, Logistics, IT, A/V Support, Facilities, and Transportation.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Administrative:

  • Supervise and manage all employees working for Sevent Dimension, LLC ISO the contract (administrative and operational)
  • Address and resolve concerns or conflict with administrative, services, support, equipment, and/or personnel
  • Manage budgets/expenses
  • Asist with establishing SOPs (personnel management, operations, office management, etc.)
  • Approve timecards and ensure employee time is properly annotated
  • Conduct general office management and clerical support as required
  • Ensure personnel comply with Government annual training requirements
  • Other related duties as assigned

Operation/Technical:

  • Act as liaison between contracted vendors, DoD services and Federal Government agencies
  • Assist the Commander in the identification of supply requirements necessary to support the continued operation of the school
  • Assist with the maintenance and accountability of all Company acquired and issued equipment
  • Completion of all required and assigned training courses annually
  • Comply with all assigned reporting requirements
  • Comply with applicable installation, facility, and area commander installation and facility access and local security policies and procedures
  • Develop safety procedure and risk management plans
  • Other related duties as assigned

Logistics:

  • Conduct Supply inventories and track various Company or government requests
  • Assist with acquiring, maintenance and accountability of supplies, equipment, vehicles, and furniture, etc.
  • Create, analyze and mange logistical plans and operations
  • Property book/hand receipt processes and management
  • Coordinate timely provision of supply requirements which include but are not limited to livestock (chickens, rabbits, etc.), portable latrines, etc.
  • Identify shortages and order supplies and equipment as necessary
  • Research, negotiate, and acquire services and equipment from vendors; negotiate prices
  • Other related duties as assigned

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • High School graduate or equivalent 
  • Computer literacy with experience in Microsoft 360 (Word, Teams, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, etc.)
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of documented and verifiably successful experience managing logistical and/or administrative activities of a similar size and scope
  • U.S. citizen or ability to legally work in the U.S. 
  • Present a professional and credible image at all times 
  • Superior management and communication skills 
  • Must have or be able to obtain a SECRET Security Clearance 
  • Prior experience dealing with commercial vendors (Preferred)
  • Must be able to access installation 
  • Must be able to speak, read and write in English fluently

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to talk, listen, and write. The employee frequently is required to use foot/ankle motions, hands or fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is required to stand, walk, sit; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
