Location: 3rd POB (A)(D), and 1st Special Forces Command Head Quarters Public Affairs Office at Fort Liberty, NC

**Position is Contingent Upon Contract Award**

Summary: Will provide Subject Matter Expertise in videography-related tasks across all types of media platforms – Internet, TV, Radio, and Print. The objective is to mentor Soldiers on industry-specific practices and production techniques, and train Soldiers on videography.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert guidance and knowledge in videography-related tasks across various media platforms including Internet, TV, Radio, and Print.
  • Mentor soldiers on industry-specific practices and production techniques in videography, aiming to enhance their skills and understanding of the craft.
  • Conduct training sessions to educate soldiers on videography techniques, equipment operation, and production processes.
  • Collaborate on the development of training curriculum to ensure relevance and alignment with industry standards in videography.
  • Ensure the quality and consistency of videography work produced by soldiers, adhering to established standards and best practices.
  • Provide constructive feedback and evaluations to soldiers on their videography projects to facilitate growth and improvement.
  • Efficiently manage resources, including equipment, software, and personnel, to support videography production and training activities.
  • Stay informed on advancements in videography technology and techniques, implementing improvements as necessary to enhance training effectiveness and soldier skill development.
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders and subject matter experts to integrate videography training into broader educational and operational initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate records of videography support services, training activities, and soldier progress to ensure accountability and track performance over time.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, skills, and abilities):

  • Top Secret Clearance/Sensitive Compartmentalized Information required at start of work.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English effectively.
  • Be U.S. citizens unless provisions of Army Regulation 25-2, Information Assurance have been fully completed and approval is granted by the Government for the non-U.S. citizen to perform the required support.
  • Possess and maintain knowledge of new and emerging technologies in the management of multimedia projects including, but not limit to; broadcast television, radio, screenplays, print media, and electronic media content production for intern and mobile applications, specifically social media.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Performing Arts/Multimedia/Communication.
  • 4 Years of experience in respective field.
  • Experience in all phases of feature-length program creation including, but not limited to, development, pre-production, production, and post-production activities.
  • Experience in operating field and studio audio visual equipment, configuring and operating advanced video camera systems, operating editing equipment, and post-production software packages to create network-quality programs of varying lengths.
  • Knowledge of computer technology and the technical processes involved.
  • Ability to edit with Adobe Creative Suite with a focus on Adobe Premier and Media Encoder on both large- and small-scale projects, an understanding of software that supports interactive media design.
  • Experience in studio production and script writing.
  • Working knowledge of After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
  • Possess a current passport.

Physical Demands:

Sitting for desk work, occasional standing, walking, and bending, the ability to lift up to 40 pounds, dexterity for keyboard and mouse use, adequate vision and hearing, and general mobility as required for the role.
