Position: Government Contract Pricing Specialist

Type: Full-Time

Location: Fully remote

Position Summary: The Government Contract Pricing Specialist will be responsible for contract administration and compliance while applying in-depth knowledge of government contracting, federal regulations, and industry standards knowledge to proposal pricing and development in response to request for proposal (RFP), RFQs, and task orders. The Government Contract Pricing Specialist will collaborate Cross-departmental to resolve critical issues and ensure compliance with internal headquarters’ processes and government regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Administer, negotiate, extend, and close out government contracts, task orders, and modifications

• Ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, and other federal regulations while maintaining contractual records

• Review and collaborate with others to respond to RFP/RFQ and other pricing requests.

• Advise on strategy, estimating, and compliance throughout the proposal and duration of contract

• Assist and develop cost/price proposals compliant with RFP requirements and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)

• Obtain cost data from subcontractors, vendors, and other suppliers

• Perform and document cost/price analyses

• Ability to meet tight deadlines


Required Skills and Abilities:

• BA or BS degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Math, or Economics.

• 3 - 5 years of experience developing cost/price proposals compliant with RFP requirements and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).

• In depth knowledge of Labor Bids and SCA Rates.

• In depth knowledge of Government contracting procedures and Federal regulations.

• Flexibility to manage non-standard workweeks to meet deadline requirements.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Word.

• Advanced in Microsoft Excel.

• Self-motivated to learn new concepts and skills
